Save the supplier chats you choose on Alibaba.com, with their files. QuoteOP is a Chrome side panel. Open a chat in Message Center on Alibaba.com and click Scan this chat. QuoteOP saves it on your computer and in your Cloud copy. Export a ZIP or a web page whenever you need one.

How it works

  1. Open a chat on Alibaba.com

    Open a supplier chat in Message Center, then click the QuoteOP icon in Chrome’s toolbar. The first time, the side panel shows its notice; once you accept it, the chat appears as Not saved yet.

  2. Click Scan this chat

    QuoteOP reads the chat back to its first message and saves it, with its files, on your computer and in your Cloud copy. You see the progress and can stop at any time. A first scan takes about 5 minutes per 1,000 messages, with the screen on. While the chat stays open, QuoteOP checks it for new messages when one arrives and every 2 minutes.

  3. Export it, or open it on another computer

    Export ZIP puts the messages, images, videos, documents and a plain-text transcript in one file. Export web page gives you a single HTML file. Cloud copy is on unless you switch it off, so the chat also shows on your other computers.

What you get

  • Your chats saved on your computer

    Each chat you scan is saved on your computer, with its files. The panel shows Full history only when Alibaba.com confirms the first message, and says so when older messages may be missing.

  • Your chats on your other computers

    With Cloud copy on, messages and files are copied to your QuoteOP account after each scan. A chat scanned on one computer then shows up on the others. Delete your Cloud copy any time in the side panel’s Settings.

  • One-click exports

    Export ZIP holds the messages as a web page, a plain-text transcript, the files in folders and a list of anything missing. Export web page is one file with the messages and images.

Before you install

  • Chrome only. QuoteOP is a Chrome side panel. It needs Chrome 116 or newer on a desktop computer.
  • You choose which chats are saved. QuoteOP saves a chat only after you click Scan this chat. After that, it adds new messages while the chat is open on Alibaba.com. In Message Center, QuoteOP checks which chat is open and whether a new message arrived. It keeps nothing from chats you do not scan.
  • Read-only on Alibaba.com. QuoteOP never sends, edits or deletes anything on Alibaba.com.
  • You need a QuoteOP account. The side panel asks you to sign in before the first scan. New accounts open with the public release.
